Default Any suggestions for someone suffering psc? or auto-immune hep

Hey guys,

My specialist has been trying for years to find an explanation for my abnormal liver results. He has suggested that it may be psc. I have just been reading the PP Lifeplan and thought that the gut cleansing for the first week and then solid low carb diet onwards. Anybody had any experience with this or any recommendations on how to approach this?

Cheers team

Lawrence

Hello, Lawrence! Have you read The 6-Week Cure for the Middle Aged Middle that was recently released by the Drs. Eades? You will find a very long thread on the subject and it might be of interest to you. Here is another.

Thanks for the welcome Malcolm and Carol. Well I wasn't able to source all of the ingredients for the cleansing mixture but have started on strict low carb. I hope to do the cleanse early next week. I must say that I am feeling pretty tired after 2 days but it is a battle I am willing to fight. Carol, I am wondering if you can direct me to the section in the middle aged middle book with relates to psc? It feels a bit funny being only 23 and reading that book but it is the underlying stuff that matters...

Thanks for your posts and God bless always

Lawrence, to my knowledge he doesn't mention PSC, but does address fatty liver disorder, which isn't the same thing. I wondered if you had read the book because of the general information on his "six-week cure" recipe of shakes, etc. There is a spot on page 111 that lists supplements that improve liver function.

I'm sure! There is a lot of information to sift through, but you'll be able to use that knowledge to possibly prevent needing the 6WC in later years!

Cheers

Well these last few days on shakes have been a real battle! I am onto my last day of shakes. My major concern right now is that I have lost 6kg over the last week... I have always had a strong build but now I am feeling a bit thin.haha
Any advice on how to gain some weight back when I get onto the solid side of the diet?
Also... any good suggestions on good fruit / vegetables to eat that are most unlikely to trigger an autoimmune response?
And lastly, in a diet with fat for fuel and protein for building, is there a danger of overloading an already damaged liver?
Thank you so much to all of you people who support us people with problems through the forums. Praying for you guys!!

Thanks, Lawrence! I wish I could give you answers, but we're over my head now. I've looked through Dr. Mike's blog and the 6WC book and have found nothing on how it affects a condition like yours. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will come along.
